Supports LVUSD school bond

Please join me in voting yes on Measure V.

James Bozajian, mayor pro tem of the City of Calabasas.

We are fortunate to have the Las Virgenes Unified School District serving our community. The exceptional and well-earned reputation of LVUSD has set our region apart from most other areas of the state.

Measure V was placed on the March 3 California Primary ballot to provide critical funding to ensure that LVUSD retains its competitive edge. Good public schools, in turn, play a key role in sustaining safe and desirable communities in which to live and work.

Revenues raised from Measure V will help repair, renovate and upgrade deteriorating facilities; strengthen school safety and emergency preparedness systems; and improve instructional technology.

All monies will be spent locally, within the boundaries of our school district.

Please join me in voting yes on Measure V.
